Our offer for church groups

Take advantage of the unique and inspiring atmosphere of the former Benedictine monastery to train, meet, experience community and spend the night in former monastery cells.

Meetings and training in inspiring spaces

The atmospheric rooms of the Propstei Wislikofen still breathe the spirit of the Benedictines today. This has an effect on the people who meet there and promotes an open atmosphere for learning and discussion. Our rooms have a spiritual aura – as our guests regularly tell us. The Propstei Wislikofen is a spiritual place to slow down and recharge your batteries. An oasis that inspires our guests and helps them to concentrate on the essentials.

Spend the night in former monastery cells

Our rooms are furnished in a simple and contemporary style. The monastic atmosphere has been preserved. There are 45 rooms (17 double and 28 single rooms) with a total of 65 beds available for overnight accommodation. Three rooms are wheelchair accessible. As we maintain the monastic character and at the same time attach importance to ecological sustainability, we deliberately do without TV and minibar.

“I particularly liked the simplicity of the rooms. Less is sometimes more!”

– P. Derungs, seminar participant

You sleep in the former monks’ cells (dormitory), which radiate a special sense of comfort and tranquillity. All rooms are equipped with a shower and a private WC / washbasin. There is also a hairdryer in the mirror cabinet and the WLAN connection works reliably.

Anyone staying at the Propstei Wislikofen is looked after competently and friendly by our team at reception during the day. In addition, our guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet every morning that leaves nothing to be desired. From fresh bread, croissants and muesli to cheese, meat, eggs, fruit and vegetables, everything is included. There is also a coffee machine, a large selection of high-quality organic Raselli teas from Switzerland and a juicer so that everyone can make their own fresh fruit and vegetable juices.

Additional information

The housekeeping team at the Propstei Wislikofen takes care of cleaning our hotel rooms every day. In the spirit of sustainability, we wash the bed linen, tablecloths and napkins directly at the Propstei and are not dependent on an external service provider with the corresponding transportation routes.

Enjoy in our restaurant

Sustainability and health are very important at Propstei Wislikofen. You can therefore look forward to regional cuisine with herbs, spices and essences from our herb garden. We source our products from the region whenever possible. In this way, we support local businesses and keep transportation routes short – for the sake of people, the environment and nature.

Start the day with a rich breakfast buffet and a fruity vitamin juice, which you can prepare yourself with our juicer. We serve three-course menus for lunch and dinner. You can choose whether you would like to enjoy a main course with meat, a raw vegetable salad plate with a filling component or a vegetarian main course. For starters, there is a choice of fresh fruit or vegetable juice, a hearty soup or a seasonal salad. We serve lunch and dinner in the idyllic courtyard during the summer months. Our kitchen team caters for individual dietary requirements.

Insider tip: Our vaulted cellar

Let the intensive seminar day come to a cozy end in our atmospheric vaulted cellar. You will find beers from the regional Kündig brewery in Rietheim and exquisite Swiss wines are available at the right temperature. We are happy to organize something to satisfy late-night hunger pangs, such as the popular Klosterplättli with sliced dried meat and cheese. You can also find salty and sweet snacks in our mini-kiosk in the foyer.
